An Evening of FIRE & ICE

A very special March Yoga will be held in the heated 3rd floor loft at AMERY ALE WORKS. A cozy, private space - perfect for damp or cold days.

This exciting event honors the transition of Seasons - from Winter to Spring - with a Yoga Practice, and Dinner to honor the constantly changing (battle) days of warmth and cold (ICE and FIRE).

The Yoga practice will be a unique fusion of Breathwork, flow yoga with options for power challenges/extended holds (FIRE) , and a slower yin yoga, with long relaxing poses and a meditative rest (ICE). Each participant will receive a "FIRE & ICE" essential oil 5ml rollerball set with Registration. An invitation to enhance your practice tonight and months to come by utilizing this special set created for our event by Amery Ale Works very own Event Coordinator - Sam Brandt! This practice will highlight a variety of yoga methods with some challenge options to bring on some heat, yet remaining beginner friendly for those new to yoga. Attend alone or bring a friend - everyone welcome!

Appropriate for all levels, even those with no yoga experience. (What a great place to start!).

This is a 60 min practice.

*THOSE WITH FRAGRANCE SENSITIVITIES: Please note, all participants are invited to use essential oils during the yoga practice.

After class we will head down to the 2nd level to enjoy a special dinner selection created by our favorite AAW kitchen queen - Mama Destiney!

Dinner:

Grilled marinated Garlic Ginger Chicken Breast (FIRE), served over rice with a Cooling chutney sauce .

Side of Vegetable

Drink: Cool Lemon Water

What to bring:

*Yoga mat (I have extras)

*water bottle

* Please wear comfortable clothing appropriate for yoga movement.

*layers easily added or removed during practice. (Body temps may fluctuate and tend to lower for the slow paced part of practice).

*a small blanket (or2) for final resting pose and meditation.

*Any props you wish to have.(blocks/bolsters/small pillow)

** OPTION FOR (NOT REQUIRED) a light set of hand weights. 2-5lb.
